Customer Success Engineer — Remote-first
If you need someone to tell you what to build, this isn’t the job. If your favorite part of any problem is the call where you figure out what someone actually needs — and your second favorite is shipping the fix the same day — keep reading.
We’re hiring a Customer Success Engineer who’ll sit in real customer meetings, identify what’s actually getting in the way, and then build the fix — sometimes a configuration, sometimes a custom support tool, sometimes a one-off script against our API. You’ll work close to our customers and close to the platform.
This role exists because we think the right person can collapse the distance between a customer has a problem and the problem is solved from weeks to hours. And the part that should make you lean in — the patterns you build for one customer end up shaping the product everyone uses. Your bespoke work compounds into the roadmap, and you’ll be in the room when we decide what ships next for the whole base.
In practice, you already vibe-code for a living. You live in whichever AI-native tool fits your hand, you’ve shipped real things to real users with it, and you don’t need anyone to teach you how to use AI to ship faster — that’s already how you work. We trust you to pick your tools, and we don’t care where you learned to use them. We care that you can hold a customer call, hear what’s actually being said underneath the words, and code a solution the same afternoon.
You can work from wherever your heart is — couch, café, mountain, one of our offices, or the mix you’d actually like. The one non-negotiable: you’ll travel to meet the team in person on a regular cadence. Some things still happen better in a room.
Bonus points if you’ve worked on the customer service side at some point in your life. You’ll already know what it feels like on the other side of the call — and that changes the kind of fix you reach for.
Move fast. If this resonates, send us something — a tool you’ve shipped, a repo, a paragraph about a customer problem you solved recently. AI will read it first. Then we will.
